August Cellars is a family run winery that likes to focus on more unusual wine varieties. We keep our prices lower, so that we can be your “Tuesday Night Wine”. In other words we want to be able to be the wine you can drink on a daily basis.
We prefer to age the wines for you, so most of our wines are a bit more on the vintage side of things.
Neil & Sue Shay moved to the Willamette Valley in 2010 and after almost a year of searching for a home out in the country, found a six acre homestead nestled into the southwest Coastal foothills of the Willamette Valley in the Village of Alpine, west of Monroe, Oregon. Before moving in, it was suspected the lawn and pasture areas on the property might be a suitable habitat for bluebirds. As a pleasant introduction to their new residence, they were greeted by several families of bluebirds the very day they unloaded the moving van and moved into the house. As a well-known symbol for happiness, Neil & Sue welcomed and acknowledged their bluebird neighbors by naming our property “Bluebird Hill”. Daily, they are greeted by their bluebirds and the other friendly birds that frequent their feeders.
Inheriting an overgrown Christmas tree farm, it took three years to fully clear their land and they began planting grapevines as cleared land was available. Only once the trees started to go, could they truely appreciate the full potential of their property: aside from the long-distance view that Neil & Sue enjoy, the site is absolutely perfect for growing grapes, a warm hilltop site that enjoys gentle summer breezes with southeastern- and western-faced slopes to capture the sun’s energy.
In the early spring of 2013, there was just enough land fully-cleared to allow them to plant their first block of vines, a small plot of Pommard clone Pinot noir. Since then, more plantings have followed each year. Presently they stand at three acres, planted at a high density, perhaps more typical of France than Oregon. Although Neil & Sue love the Burgundian-style Pinot noirs and have many of their favorite Dijon clones planted along with Pommard and Wädenswil, Bluebird Hill wines strive to tell the story that the Willamette Valley is a unique place that can produce outstanding wine, reflecting it’s own special terroir. Bluebird Hill wines are small-lot and handcrafted, and always will be, with a commitment to make distinctive wines from exceptional fruit using a combination of traditional and modern winemaking techniques with a focus on detail.
Neil & Sue look out every morning at exceptional sunrises and, after a good day’s work, enjoy the early evening light falling on their young vineyard. The location affords a rare treat …. Gorgeous vistas, a quiet place to sit, relax, and taste outstanding wines. Great wine shared with friends and loved ones is one of life’s joys and Neil & Sue hope that you will pay them a visit, taste the wines, enjoy the views and include Bluebird Hill wines for your own special occasions.

Catman Cellars is proud to contribute to Oregon’s growing reputation for excellence in a variety of wines. Not just white wines and Pinot Noirs, but also fine bold reds associated with some of the most renowned wine regions of the world. Many of our first-time customers are surprised that an Oregon winery can produce such a wide variety of wines of such high quality.
The reason is that vineyards producing exceptional red wine fruit flourish within a few hours of our winery in Newberg, Oregon. We carefully source our grapes from the best of those vineyards to yield the classic characteristics that distinguish each varietal.
In the 1970s a handful of pioneers inspired the winemaking world by proving that Oregon deserved a slot on the list of the world’s esteemed wine regions. Catman Cellars pays tribute to those intrepid visionaries by continuing to build on their proud legacy.
Chris James Cellars is a family owned and operated vineyard and winery that produces unique and interesting wines in Carlton, Oregon. The vineyard was planted in 2012, with additional blocks planted in each year since. As of 2018, 12 acres of the 62 acre property was planted with grapes. In 2015 we produced our first lots of Pinor Noir and Sauvignon Blanc and have since expanded our wine selection to offer hand-crafted lots of Pinot Noir, Sauvignon Blanc, Gewurztraminer, Riesling, Dolcetto, Lagrein and more.
Coleman Vineyard is located in the Coast Range foothills of Yamhill County in the Willamette Valley. Initially planted in 1991, the vineyard consists of 13.5 acres of Pinot Noir, clones Pommard, Dijon 114, and Dijon 115, along with 9 acres of Pinot Gris. The site is 300-500 feet elevation with silty clay loams on a fractured volcanic basalt base. Coleman Vineyard was selected by the US Geology Service for a detailed soil study in 2006. This year-long test provided significant information about the vineyard site regarding soil typing, water holding capacity and uptake, and nutrient and mineral exchanges.
The vineyard is close to the Van Duzer corridor, an opening through the Coast Range mountains to the Oregon coast, providing hot summer days with afternoon winds cooling the evening temperatures significantly. We believe this temperature variation, along with the volcanic soils, contribute to the phenolic characteristics and brightness of the wine, providing a structure for aging and signature dark cherry and spice flavors with intense color. Because of these unique influences, the coastal foothills of McMinnville has been approved for AVA status, and the area is known as the McMinnville AVA. The area is 40 million years old, formed from oceanic volcanic uprisings followed by deposits of lava from the Cascade Mountain volcanic eruptions known as ‘basalt tufts’.
At Cubanisimo Vineyards, we are proud of our Cuban heritage. We combine this pride with our passion for Pinot to create beautiful wines from our luscious Willamette Valley fruit. We invite you to come visit us at our tasting room anytime to enjoy great wines, fabulous panoramic views of the vineyards with the gorgeous backdrop of Salem and the Cascade Mountains.
Earth Song Vineyards is an 11 acre vineyard family owned and operated by 4 generations. We are all involved from pruning to harvest. Adam, Courtney and Pam start the season with pruning the vines. Mike, Lois and the children (Alex-7 and Michael-4) join in for shoot thinning and bud rubbing. As the season progresses, the management of the vineyard is mostly done by Adam, Courtney and Pam, but by harvest everyone else is right back in the thick of things. The kids help with getting the buckets and bins washed. Lois makes lunch for the pickers and Mike hauls grapes to the winery. We feel that it is this hands on, personal approach that makes our wines special.

In 1982, founder Tom Huggins convinced a group of friends and family members to establish the winery’s first vineyard in the rolling hills outside of Salem, Oregon. In 1986, Eola Hills Wine Cellars produced its first vintages of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir wine. Today, it is one of Oregon’s largest wineries and its Oregon Classic Pinot Noir consistently ranks as a best-seller in Oregon.
Eola Hills Wine Cellars is still locally owned and operated and is one of Oregon’s largest wineries, farming over 325 acres of prime vineyard land. Production now surpasses 80,000 cases of fine wines that are enjoyed across the country and internationally. Our goal is to make wines that we feel capture the spirit and flavors of Oregon – we hope you enjoy them.
Winery specializing in the production of big bold reds. Our fantastic Pinot Noir comes from Durant Vineyards in Dundee. The rest of our great wines comes from the biggest up and coming wine region in the world…Southeast Washington. Horse Heaven Hills and Rattlesnake AVA’s are home to the grapes that produced our Cabernet Sauvignon, Cab Franc, Barbera and Zinfindel.
We are a small lot, family owned and managed vineyard and winery in the Umpqua Valley. We offer hand crafted wines made exclusively from grapes grown and processed on our property. Our wines are designed to enhance the enjoyment of good company, to savor with great food and create brilliant memories. Salud!
We hand planted single clone Dijon 115 in 2001; first harvest was in 2006. We maintain a sustainable vineyard ourselves with help from family and friends within our community at harvest time. Our “little hill” (Poco Collina) has rich influences of apples, surrounding blackberries, wild cherry trees and a family of free range hens. We pride ourselves on medium bodied, slight spice and a soft finish to our wine styles.
In 1933, Honeywood Winery was founded by Ron Honeyman and John Wood. It was originally called Columbia Distilleries, and produced fruit brandies, cordials and liqueurs. Eventually, they settled on making premium wines and decided a name change was in order for the winery.
Contrary to the obvious, Messrs. Honeyman and Wood did not use a contraction of their names to make Honeywood, and in fact, objected to the name on those grounds. An advertising consultant provided the rationale with a line from Oliver Goldsmith’s play, “The Good Natured Man,” wherin the products of fermentation were referred to as, “smooth as HONEY…aged in WOOD…the drink of the good natured man.” Honeywood became synonymous with the elite in wines.
A winery must be close to its source of ingredients, and so it is with Honeywood. Located in Salem, in the heart of Oregon’s great and fertile Willamette Valley, the winery is minutes away from some of the world’s finest vineyards, cane berry fields and fruit orchards. Honeywood is the oldest producing winery in Oregon. The winery produces a full line of premium vinifera wines and the most extensive listing of premium fruit and specialty wines.
J Wrigley Vineyards is an estate vineyard located in the McMinnville AVA of Yamhill County Oregon. McMinnville is the home of the International Pinot Noir Festival, distinguishing Yamhill County as a contender in the global marketplace for award winning wines. We, the Wrigley Family, purchased 200 acres of prime vineyard land in 2006 and planted our first Pinot Noir, Riesling and Pinot Gris vines in October of 2008. In 2011, we added 2 acres of Chardonnay grapes to our varietals. It’s been a joy to share this process of land preparation, planting, tending to the vines and ultimately harvesting the grapes with our family, friends and wine lovers around the world!
Our logo and label with the unmistakable JW was a cattle brand from the over 100 year old Wrigley ranch that John Wrigley grew up on in Burley, Idaho. The JW brand is still being used on the ranch and we have stylized the JW for our wine labels, recognizing the long history of working the land in the Wrigley family. As they say, you can’t take the farm out of the boy.
John has an affinity for understanding the complexity of soils that make Oregon wines so special. Each soil type gives characteristics to the wine. In 2010 we rolled out our J Wrigley label with a 2009 “Mac” Cuvee and a 2010 Pinot Blanc. We hand selected grapes from within the McMinnville AVA and crafted wines that are distinctive to our Coastal foothills viticultural area. Our first estate vintage made its debut in 2011 with 250 cases produced. Today we are producing 2000 cases annually.
We are so grateful to all of those who have supported us since the beginning and who continue to journey with us. Our family and friends have played a very significant role in making J Wrigley Vineyards what it is today.

Inspired by years living and traveling in Europe, our dream of building a life, vineyard and farm in the breathtaking Willamette valley was launched in 2004 when we first glimpsed a dilapidated 88-acre farmstead. With its southwest exposure and rich soils, fantastic views of the coast range and a time-weathered barn, it was the perfect site to pursue our vision.
Summers working at a family ranch on the Steens Mountains of Oregon, and a love of design, food and wine, provided the passion and know-how to embark on the hard work of making our dream come true.
And it truly has been a dream come true.
From renovating the 1939 barn on the property to building a farmhouse, reclaiming the land and establishing vines, there’s no other way to describe the incredible journey of a doctor, an architectural designer, and our young daughter.
Now we invite you to close your eyes, imagine the gentle night call of owls and savor the fruits of our labors.

MarshAnne Landing is a small family-run winery and vineyard located in the heart of the Umpqua Valley in southern Oregon, just 2 hours from Crater Lake and 20 minutes north of Roseburg and just 3 miles off I-5. Our goal is to produce food-friendly “out of this world” wines from grapes traditionally grown in the Rhone and Bordeaux regions of France. Syrah, Grenache, Viognier, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Cabernet Franc (along with a few other interesting varietals) have all been given a home in our beautiful vineyard located at the site of a former stagecoach stop in the rolling hills north of Roseburg, Oregon.
